We have a SE Asian Tiger Frog that’s been losing weight lately. We’ve been feeding him crickets with calcium powder added, but it doesn’t seem to be helping much. What other nutrient-rich foods can we try to help him gain weight? He’s picky and won’t eat anything worm-shaped. Any advice is welcome!
How often are you feeding him, and how much? Crickets and Dubia roaches are usually good options if he’s not into worms.

Are you dusting the crickets with supplements?

We do dust the crickets with calcium powder. Ideally, we try to feed him three times a week, but sometimes it’s only once a week.
@Derry
If he’s eating, that’s a good sign. Maybe try offering food more often and see if he’ll eat more. Sometimes they’re hungrier than we expect.
